During my study abroad trip, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit the town of Bath, England! This ancient city is located about 100 miles west of London, and is a great place for a day trip! Bath is known for its ancient Roman Baths created during the Roman Era. These natural hot baths were created in AD 60 by the Romans. In the 17th century, people believed the water had healing properties. Because of this, during the Georgian Era, Bath became a popular place for people to come and relax and heal themselves. This town was created during the Georgian Era, and the buildings reflect this architecture. The Bath Abbey is the religious center in this town. Jane Austen also lived here in the early 19th century.

You can never go wrong with a black and white outfit! It was still chilly outside, so I decided to wear my Black Trench Coat from The Kooples (similar here) with a knit black & white striped turtleneck from Nordstrom (similar here and here). The knit material makes this sweater a little thicker, and perfect for England's weather! I wore my favorite Topshop jeans, with my Steve Madden over-the-knee boots (similar here). These stylish boots add more to your outfit than just a cute accessory: these jeans are not very thick, so adding in the high boots definitely helped keep my legs warm!

The Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths are located in the center of the town of Bath. This gorgeous historical site is so amazing to see. Just like when we visited the Acropolis,
you get a sense of awe when you realize how ancient these locations truly are. The Roman Bath's offer a wonderful tour where you receive a headset and can tour the Baths at your own pace. This site also does an amazing job of helping you understand and picture exactly what these baths looked like during their prime, and who would come to visit them. If you are ever in London, you need to make sure to visit this great location.

Not only are the Roman Baths and the Bath Abbey absolutely gorgeous, but so is the town itself! With its Georgian Era architecture, beautiful rivers, and vast amounts of greenery, this town is one you don't want to miss. You can find adorable streets down every corner, and a great little shopping area in the town center. Don't forget to stop for some delicious food and ice cream (yes, I did get the extra large hotdog and it was amazing)!
