Dreaming of Paris
This amazing flowered wall, which reminded me of the gardens of Versailles, compelled me to pair it with this French inspired outfit. Last year I went to Paris for spring break and everyone dressed so beautifully and chic. The contrast of the red shoes and purse with my black and white outfit reminded me of how beautifully the Parisians dressed.
This perfect white button down top is from Express (which I also have in black and maroon). The material is super light and it makes it the perfect shirt to wear to class up an outfit in hot weather.
This black skater skirt is from Forever 21 and is only $6.00! It comes in many other colors as well. I love the look of this skirt because the fit is tight at the waist and comes out at the bottom giving your body the perfect shape. I have recently become obsessed with wearing skirts and dresses, and the skater style is definitely my favorite.
These AMAZING shoes are from Topshop (similar here). I was obsessed with the Ghillie lace up style for a while (I also have them in another color), but once I saw them in red I knew I had to get them. I love the pointed toe and lace up aspects of the shoe. The red color can make any outfit pop.
These Alex and Ani bracelets are so cute and easy to mix and match. I am wearing the initial and the lucky clover bracelets. I wear both gold and silver jewelry but I personally prefer silver, especially with my skin tone. I matched the bracelets with my Tiffany T Square Ring and my One Love Pandora Ring. I've always loved wearing multiple rings, but I love that these are delicate and classy enough to not look like I have too much going on with my jewelry.
I have been obsessed with this Kate Spade purse (now only sold in black and a similar here) since the second I saw it online. The red leather is absolutely amazing and such a beautiful color. The red purse combined with the red shoes creates such a nice pop of color and contrast against my plain outfit. After seeing almost every person on the streets in Paris tie a cool scarf around their purse, I decided to try it myself. I used this Kate Spade scarf (similar here) because I could match it with the red in the purse but then I can also pull in other colors such as the blue and green. There are so many ways you can tie the scarf around your purse: you can tie it in a bow, tie it in a knot around one of the straps, make a belt that goes around the top, or wrap it like I did around the strap itself. Here is a video showing some of the ways you can tie it. The scarf is such a fun way to add some more color to your outfit!
