N̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ Day at the Museum
I recently got into the California spirit and summer attire with this floral strapless dress I purchased from the Urban Outfitters in Sherman Oaks California, and headed to the Getty Museum. This dress was one of the last of its kind so here is a similar floral pattern from the brand. There are so many colors within the dress to pull from and it screams summer! I love this piece because you can make it fancier or casual based on your jewelry and shoes.
I wore three different gold toned bracelets. The first two are from Alex and Ani. I love the Nile Beaded Bracelet because it is a different style for the company. The other bracelet that is plain muted gold is from Ann Taylor Loft (similar here). These are simple and don't distract from the busy pattern of the dress.
This beautiful gold statement Necklace came from Francesca's (similar here). The strapless dress gives opportunity to wear great pieces like the one pictured. I am not much for a lot of jewelry, so a statement necklace gives the perfect bright look in a single piece.
How fitting that I was smelling flowers that matched the flowers on my dress!
The fun part about this look is dressing it up or down. I love these 9 West nude wedges from their outlet store (on sale for $54). If you go online here are a similar pair of nudge platform wedges. I just purchased them and think that a nude wedge is possibly what I was missing most in my life. Nude is trending right now because it works with a spectrum of colors.
However, if you are walking around like I was, maybe save the heels for a night out and wear the white keds that I showed in my last blog. They are comfy and bring a whole new style to the outfit.
