Pop with Patterns
As someone who has the hardest time pairing patterns together, I love to be able to combine basics with statement pieces. That is what I did for this summer ready outfit.
This adorable black crop top is from H&M. It has narrow shoulder straps and has a deep side cut similar to that of a halter top. The Back has a razor back quality to it but definitely makes the look stand out with spaghetti straps opposed to thicker bands.
These LA Hearts shorts carriesd at Pacsun (similar here in the Kendall and Kylie collection) have elephants, stripes, diamonds, and other patterns to create a fun and unique design over a tan base color. The shorts also have black tassel trimming that flatter the body nicely. I like that they are high waist because I think that it looks good on all body types. This look is bohemian and all things summer.
For shoes I wore these braided black sandals from Payless (similar here) . They are simple and match with just about anything. I also am wearing pink Essie nail polish on my toes for a pop of color.
With all of the tan and black, I wanted my accessories to bring color to this outfit. My purse is from Longchamp in a bright pink. I also own this exact tote in navy blue and it is so light-weight and easy to carry.
The necklace I am wearing is no longer sold at Francesca's, but any statement necklace will look very nice on top of the black top. I chose this because it was multi-color. Arrow necklaces are very popular right now and would also look great with this outfit.
