Black & White
Everyone knows that vertical stripes are the most flattering, and especially in black and white. When I saw this amazing dress I thought the aztec print added a fun twist to the chic black and white stripe dress. With this outfit I decided to keep my accessories simple to let the aztec print stand out the most.
This dress is from Topshop, and it is unfortunately sold out. However, I found some dresses that are really similar from Nordstrom (Dress 1, Dress 2, Dress 3, Dress 4, Dress 5, Dress 6). Not only is this dress amazing because of the aztec black and white stripes, it also has an open back! I love that this dress is a t-shirt style dress but still comes in at the waist. As I mentioned in my Summer Flowers post, I like dresses that give me a shape, and thankfully this one does it on its own! I usually am not a huge fan of high necklines, but this one is really cute and it doesn't feel like it's choking me. I think that the open back is really cool because it matches the upward facing triangle print in the dress, so it goes along with the design.
I decided to keep my accessories simple, with only black shoes, a black purse and my gold bracelet. I am wearing my favorite Tory Burch Miller Sandals, which if you haven't noticed yet I practically live in. I matched this outfit with my Kate Spade Mikas Pond Clover Crossbody. I decided to wear my Kate Spade Take a Bow Bangle (another gift from my amazing friends) to match the gold accents in the purse. I never thought I would wear red lipstick, but once I bought this amazing set of Tory Burch lipstick (which is still an extra 30% off) I couldn't stop wearing it! It is such a gorgeous color and it gives a nice pop of red (along with my nails) in this black and white outfit.
