Tel Aviv Beach
This is my first of many posts from Israel! This trip was one of the most amazing weeks of my life and I can't wait to share with you guys a couple of the beautiful places we went to. This outfit is from my first day in Tel Aviv. If you haven't been to Tel Aviv, it is a spectacular beach city (very similar to South Beach). This was one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to, and it's probably because it is on the Mediterranean Sea! The sand is so soft and the water is so beautiful, it felt unreal.
I wore this super cool Calvin Klein coverup that I got from TJ Maxx, but Lord & Taylor still has it on sale! I love that it has cutouts over the entire dress making it very light and breathable, which was perfect for the 100 degree weather in Israel. I also love that it comes in at the waist so you can tie it and tighten it, or keep it loose so you can wear it however you like. This dress is very versatile and comfortable, so I not only wore it on the beach, but also when we rode bikes along the shore of the beach on Tel Aviv.
If you haven't heard, Victoria's Secret is having a HUGE bathing suit sale and I stocked up because of the great prices! This bathing suit top is sold out already but they have one that is very similar, and these bottoms are also from Victoria's Secret. I love the twisted straps on the side of the bathing suit bottoms, and the color block top is so bright and fun.
This absolutely amazing hat is sold out from Nordstrom, but Forever 21 has one that is really similar! If you know me, then you know I am crazy about my sunscreen because of my fair skin. I hate getting a sunburn, so this hat is awesome because it completely blocks the sun from my face!
With this outfit I decided to wear my white Jack Rogers. I thought they would be easier to ride a bike with than flip flops. I brought very little jewelry with me to Israel because I was planning on buying handmade jewelry while I was there; however, I did bring this one necklace with me. My mom bought this beautiful yad (hand in hebrew) necklace when she was in Israel as a kid. This necklace has so many small details on all the finger tips and around all of the edges, and in the center it says Jerusalem in hebrew. Etsy has a lot of yad necklaces (some people call them a hamsa necklace) that are really pretty.
Just as I did with my jewelry, I barely brought any purses with me. Actually, I only brought this one, which is out of character for me! This purse is one of the purses I featured in my Grandma's Vintage post. I chose to bring this bag with me because it is a cross body and the perfect size for traveling and everyday use. I also love that it has a black and brown color so I can easily match it with almost every outfit. TJ Maxx has so many cute black cross body bags so I decided to just link you to all of them so you can browse if you want.
