Leafy Romper
Day two in Tel Aviv consisted of shopping, touring a museum and wearing this adorable leafy romper. As you can imagine a country in the middle of the desert in the Middle East can get very hot; because of this, we had to be able to transition our outfits from touring inside a chilly museum to walking around outside in the heat.
Of course while on vacation in a foreign country I had to do some shopping! Some of the best shopping areas in Tel Aviv are in walking distance from each other, so I had to wear something comfortable and light to not melt in the heat. I wore this cute leafy romper from Lord & Taylor (similar here, here and here). I love that the top and bottom are two different layers so it almost looks like a matching set, and the plant/floral pattern is perfect for summer.
To escape the heat we went to Beit Hatfutsot - The Museum of the Jewish People, which is on the campus of Tel Aviv University. This museum is definitely worth the stop, and not just because there is a whole section dedicated to Bob Dylan. I threw on a linen sweater that I stole from my mom's closet for the museum, so I found this similar one from kohls. The lightweight material is perfect for keeping me warm in the museum, but it's not too heavy for when I have to hold it while walking around outside.
As for my accessories, I kept it very simple wearing my Tory Burch Oversized Cat-Eye Sunglasses and Yad necklace from my previous post. My black vintage Fendi purse is the only purse I brought with me, so I have linked this purse from Aldo. I wore my white Jack Rogers, because I know that they are comfortable enough to walk around all day in.
