A Day in the Park

*FrohlichPhotography

I spent the day in one of the most iconic parks which also happens to be my favorite places to go in the city, Central Park. While dressing casually is a common look for vacationers, I love to bring some of the classic looks into my vacation ensembles.

The white frill sleeveless top comes from Francesca's. It is light to wear but has a subtle print that makes it less ordinary. My favorite shorts are Crown & Ivy, I love that these shorts have length to them but can also be worn above the hip. Of course, the pattern and the color also make these shorts the talk of the room.

This other Burberry purse my aunt gave to me has a slight pink tint to it that makes it the perfect summer bag. These purses are sturdy and can carry many items. It works great for long days out or traveling.

The two newest accessories to my closet come from Charming Charlie. My flower earrings match the subtle pattern on the white top, and blends with the gold in the necklace. Simple accessories can help make the outfit come together as a whole.

As seen in my last blog this gold headband is my go to hair accessory. I love to match my accessories, and this piece goes perfectly with the gold jewelry I am wearing.

Strappy sandals are a great way to bring an outfit together. I like that these are black because it allows the rest of the outfit to make a statement. The braided pieces add some texture to an otherwise simple and classic design. Tory Burch makes great sandals like these but these shoes actually came from Payless!
