Everything Old is New Again

This week I want to bring you an outfit that brings back styles from previous decades that are becoming increasingly popular. Just like Marissa's article where she found a look from her grandmother's closet, I did some digging of my own.
This light washed blue jean romper can be found in stores like Urban outfitters, (similar here). In fact on the store's website I found 15 different versions of the 90's fashion piece. While Urban Outfitters and so many other stores carry great pieces, my romper came from my godmother's closet and is actually from the 90's. So vintage, I know. In order to make this look more 2016, I cuffed the bottom to create a flattering and form fitting look.
I paired the look with a light pink bralette. It creates a peek-a-boo look that is effortlessly beautiful. The new fashionable undergarments can be found anywhere from Walmart to Pink by Victoria Secret. They create a fun accent to any outfit.
You have seen both pieces in my blog before. Did you know that the high top converse were first worn in 1917 as an athletic shoe for basketball players though? While every college girl thinks that they started a trend across the US, the style is nothing new. The Burberry purse as I mentioned before came from my aunt's closet. The classic check
design is the company's trademark design. I love that the tote pops with this outfit because it is the only component with a pattern to it.
