New York City is my favorite place on Earth. I love the fast paced atmosphere and amazing style everyone has here. After leaving the Hamptons (make sure to check out my last post) we headed straight to the city. These pictures were taken on the Upper West side, near Central Park.
I had my eyes on this adorable June & Hudson trench vest for the entire summer, and I finally bought it when it went on sale! Unfortunately, it's sold out, but I have found some similar ones from Nordstrom, H&M, and Forever 21. This vest makes it so easy to transition any outfit into fall. You can pair it with a fun tank top like my pink Lush tank (similar here), or you can wear it with a long sleeve shirt and high knee boots when it gets a little bit colder in the fall/winter. I also love the contrast in the colors with the pink and the camel, it helps to make the tank top look brighter and more summery. I am wearing my favorite jeans from Topshop. These are ankle skimmer jeans so they fall right above my shoe in the perfect spot, and can be easily worn with high top converse, lace-up flats, and these awesome heels.
I may have deceived you by naming this post Valentino's, but I have found the perfect pair of shoes that look exactly like them for under $30! These shoes are from GoJane.com and are currently on sale for $21. Make sure you get them fast because they are almost sold out! These shoes are really easy to match with any outfit. You can wear them casually with an outfit like this one, or you can dress them up. These shoes may also be the most comfortable heels I have ever worn.
One of things I am so excited to do when I get to New York is go vintage shopping. There are so many stores that have hidden treasures if you are willing to dig around. I found this Rebecca Minkoff Mini Love Crossbody bag from a store called Second Time Around. This bag is originally almost $200 and I found it for $80. It is in great shape and it doesn't even look like it has been used! My brother's girlfriend bought me this gorgeous necklace when she was in India! I found a similar necklace from Charming Charlie's.
