The Windy City

I spent the weekend in Chicago where the weather was about 60 degrees and dreary. As a Floridian I loved every minute of it. On top of the look I paired a Calvin Klein (currently on sale in store only) poncho from Macy's. This is technically black with a grey interior, but I got creative and put the grey on the outside to better match the navy blue dress. Ponchos are great because it is easy to put on and take off, and they add a simple elegance to any look.

If you are located in an area that is a little bit warmer, this fit and flare style high lace neck dress from Hollister (similar here) can be worn without a sweater. This dress creates such a flattering look and had beautiful detailing on the neckline. I also wore a small pink Coach purse (similar here) to add some color to this fall look.

I am obsessed with my new boots by style & Co available at Macy's available here. The combination of a boot and a chunky heel takes a winter look and gives it a feminine touch. The color and style of this shoe looks beautiful with any outfit.

Lastly I wore my mother's ruby and diamond ring that she passed down to me. Any jewelry with gold accents would work, but this has sentimental value.
