Blast From The Past
In honor of this outfit, I went back to the very first location that I took blog pictures last April. The top I chose only dates back two years, but I haven't worn it in so long. This top from Pacsun (similar here) has beautiful blue accents. As you can see with my last post that has a white and blue dress, I love the color combination.
The simplicity in the front with a high neckline is offset in the back which is completely open. Back in 2014, bralettes were not popular, and so my mother decided it would be more appropriate to sew the back closed at the bottom. I wore it like this until I got to college, and in my “I’m an adult but not really an adult” rebellion, I undid the stitching. Luckily, bralettes are now in style, which means the open back can be part of showing off the bralette. I am wearing a halter one with a simple back, but there are so many styles to explore.
I am also wearing these forever 21 high waisted jeans that I wore in my first blog post ever as well (what a trip down memory lane.) These shorts are still my favorite pair for all casual occasions (similar here.)
To accent the outfit I am wearing an Alex and Ani bracelet with Elsa and Ana as pictured, and pink Kate spade earrings (check out their collection here)that add such a pretty touch against the blue and white.
Lastly I have these forever 21 sunglasses that are much needed in Florida’s sun. Check out their whole collection of sunglasses here.
