Bright in White
This week I celebrated Easter and Marissa celebrated Passover. To add some inspiration for a day time look for a special event, I am blogging my Easter outfit
As summer approaches (I take my last exam this Saturday) the brighter the colors the better. Nothing screams it’s summer like a pure white dress. I borrowed my roommate’s white dress (similar here) with flowered embroidery. The sleeves are capped and it is the perfect length to wear to a more formal occasion without it looking too old. In addition, the body of the dress creates a beautiful silhouette but allows some room for comfort in case there is a lot of food at the event.
For shoes I am wearing these camel colored wedge heels from Payless (similar here.) The shoes makes the difference for the outfit, so depending on the occasion I would also recommend a peep-toe heel with block coloring.
My Kate Spade earrings have been featured before, but they add a little bit of color to the outfit. I am in love with the magenta color.
Lastly, My pearl bracelet by Ralph Lauren (similar here) is the perfect accessory for a simple look. I chose a bracelet instead of a necklace because the neckline on the dress already has a circular shape.
