Adventure was calling while I was in London. On one of the many beautiful days I had there, my friends and I took time to go sight seeing. Our stops included Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, tower bridge, and more. The weather was perfect to tour the city. My high waist jeans are from Charlotte Russe (available here.) I have owned them for about a year and a half, and they gave out after this trip. Sometimes fast fashion doesn't last long. However, they were a great slim fit and dark black wash while I had them.

I bought this white blouse with floral accents while shopping in London at Zara. I found similar versions sold on the U.S. website here and here. The top is sheer on the arms and neck but layered everywhere else so there is no need to wear a tank top under it. The sheer layer displays small circles to add texture as well. Of course, the bright colors are perfect for spring and summer. While it is long sleeved, the blouse is not thick which makes it wearable in hotter locations.

I have worn these earrings from Charming Charlie's (similar here) in a few blogs. They are a simple gold square with rhinestone like beading. I prefer simple jewelry to brighten up an outfit.

The last two pieces of my outfit I bought while I was in Greece at local stores. The necklace is a simple gold chain with a yad (the hand of God) and a blue evil eye place on top of it. I wanted to find the perfect necklace while I was there, and I ended up waiting until the last day to buy it.

The sandals came from a family owned store where and old man made all of the leather shoes in front of the customers. It was such a pleasure to learn that his store has been passed down each generation, and he will soon pass it on to his son in law. As he smoked a cigarette and fitted me for shoes at the same time, I told him "It might be hard to find a shoe, I have fat feet. His response, "Well I have big belly." With that, he found the perfect gold and silver hued sandals that I fell in love with.
