Red, White, and Blue
Happy Fourth of July! Instead of posting pictures from Europe, I am taking this opportunity to get in the Holiday spirit. I have put together two looks for you. The first focuses on red colors and stripes while the second focuses on the blue and stars.
I bought this outfit at Zara in Paris (similar here.) Stripes (specifically red stripes) are extremely popular over there, and I wanted to get an outfit to remember the fashion. Marissa saw this and told me that I needed to try it on.
I am obsessed with this romper, and I haven't seen any others with this style. However, many one piece bathing suits are showing a cut out in the center, so I think this style will become more popular in clothing. It ties in the front and has a peek a boo look in the middle. Not only is the romper absolutely adorable, it is so comfy too. It is definitely a summer staple.
My plain white crop top comes from Hollister (similar here.) I have had this top for quite a few years. It is simple, but is textured giving it a twist on a classic white shirt.
My mom picked out these shorts from Francesca’s (similar here.) They are a subtle way to get in to the holiday spirit with a dark blue base and white stars. On the pockets and the trim at the end of the shorts, it also has multi colored arrow accents in coral, purple, and teal. These shorts have a soft stretchy material, perfect for all the food I plan on consuming.
If you are feeling very festive, add a bow like the one I have here from Etsy. I wore this American flag bow in cheer, but it has come in handy for days like the 4th of July.
Happy Fourth!
