Magic in Mykonos

After spending two days in Athens, on May 3rd we all boarded a ferry and headed to Mykonos! This island is a 2-3 hour boat ride away from Athens. With the jet lag still in full effect, we all slept the entire ride! When the boat pulled up to this beautiful island, we couldn't help but stare in awe. Mykonos is exactly how you picture Greek islands, with the cute white houses dotting the mountainside, and crystal clear blue water that stretches to the horizon. It looked unreal. Of course we had to wear our cutest beach dresses while exploring Mykonos!

Mykonos is a small island with one main town. This town, Chora, is the cutest area to explore! The cobblestone streets look like they are straight out of a movie, and the views are incredible. In the first three pictures, you can see Little Venice behind me. This part of town has amazing options for any meal! The last picture was taken while walking around the streets of Chora. This maze of shops and restaurants is really easy to get lost in! We were okay with this, because we kept finding great shops with adorable clothes!

We stayed at the most beautiful hotel in Mykonos. Almost all of the pictures in the rest of this post (including the four above) were taken around our hotel. We stayed at the Hotel San Marco, which is apparently where Leonardo DiCaprio stays during his Greek vacations! We had the best view of the water from our hotel room, as well as from almost every part of the hotel. This hotel did not stray from the islands blue and white theme, with its gorgeous white and stone buildings, and blue features! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a vacation in Mykonos.

I bought this dress from the O'Neill outlet during the school year, so unfortunately it's sold out, but I found some similar options here, here and here. I love this strapless dress because it can be worn casually around an island, or as a coverup to the beach! It is perfect for any vacation. The colors are faded and blend in with any beautiful background you may be posing in front of. It is light and airy, making it perfect for those hot beach days on your dream Greek island.

I always pack my Sam Edelman Gigi Sandals when I travel. They are comfortable and light, making them the perfect shoe for any trip. You may remember these exact shoes from Tzfat (Safed) post from my trip to Israel exactly a year ago! I have had these sandals for over 4 years, and they are still in perfect shape. I love the brown leather, making them easy to match with every outfit. They are also perfect for travel because of how much they allow your feet to breathe in the heat. They are also comfortable enough to walk around in for hours.
