Island Look or London Look?

Get the London look? I bought this entire outfit while shopping in London. While it was about 60 degrees and raining that particular day, I knew that I could soon wear this adorable ensemble in the Florida heat.

This palm tree crop top comes from Zara (available here only on UK site.) I found that in a lot of stores the faux tie of a tee shirt is popular. I love the twist on a classic white tee. It gives the shirt something unique. Palm trees are a summer staple right now. I will warn that the palms are sewn on and can easily unravel, so I suggest hand washing this piece.

These orange shorts are also from Zara (available here in black.) When I bought them I thought they would be a great pair of shorts for UF football games. Orange is not usually my color, but it was a very popular color over in the UK. The orange on the shorts also match the trunk of the palm tree on my top. I like these shorts because they flatter the body very well. I actually prefer skirts and dresses over wearing shorts, but I think that these work because they don't hug the skin too tight.

Lastly, I purchased these slides at Primark (featured here,) a store that we don't have in the United States. It is similar to forever 21 but has shockingly low prices. I bought these shoes for only 4 pounds ( about $6.00.) While I don't expect them to last me years, I also don't expect slides to be a long lasting trend. These are perfect for pool and beach days.
