My second weekend in London, I hopped on a train to Paris. If you ever wanted to know if you can see the entire city in a little over 24 hours, I accepted that challenge. My friends and I went on the hottest day of the year, but we walked miles and miles from the Lourve to the Eiffel Tower to the Arc de Triomphe and everywhere in between. I could feel the history in every place we saw, and though I was there for a whirlwind adventure, I got just enough taste to know I want to go back.

After taking an uber to the train station at 4 am, we arrived in the most romantic city in the world. I wore this blue striped cropped t-shirt from Brandy Melville that I bought in London (similar here) and this jean skirt also from Brandy Melville that I have featured in other blogs (similar here.) We stopped at a french bakery where I bought a Camembert baguette for lunch, and went to the Lourve. I lost myself in the art, and even got a glimpse at the Mona Lisa.

We stayed at the Eiffel Tower during the day, ate dinner near by (where I had another baguette with cheese) and went back to watch it twinkle. It felt like a dream. After spending 5 hours gazing at the Eiffel Tower, we helped an American grandmother without a smart phone bring her grandchildren back to their hotel, and we braved the subway system which was more difficult a task because the signs were in French. We got to our Air B&B late and fell fast asleep, ready to tackle the second half of our short trip.

Stay tuned for my next post on my second day in Paris!!
