Jumpsuit Trend
In my multimedia writing class I had to interview and write a profile on another student. Luckily I was paired with another blogger named Kaylee and we met up to discuss our writing styles, audiences, and how blogs began. Downtown Gainesville is the perfect place to drink some coffee and collaborate with a fellow blogger.
I just bought this pinstriped black and white jumpsuit (similar here) from Forever 21. I think this is going to be my new favorite trend. The vertical stripes on the jumpsuit (paired with nude wedges) elongate the body, making my 5’5 height appear much taller. Jumpsuits are a great way to have a completed look without matching two separate pieces. The thin and lightweight material also works well for warmer days.
To contrast the vertical lines of the jumpsuit, and to add some color, I wore this colorful cross body Kate Spade purse (similar here) with horizontal stripes. This purse is my favorite because of the size. It had enough room for sunglasses, a wallet, and other items, but it isn’t huge. I like that it keeps the outfit from appearing bulky. In addition, the colors Kate Spade uses always stand out. I also wore my grandmother’s gold bangle as a simple accessory to add to the outfit as a simple touch.

This ring has been featured before, but I wore my evil eye ring from Greece. The gold color pops against the black. Delicate jewelry works better with a statement outfit, so that it doesn’t make it look too busy.
