Fall Clothing in Florida

Florida finally feels a bit cooler (some days,) and I had the opportunity to wear fall clothes. My friends and I spent some time at a lake near campus and then headed to a garden at the edge of campus. I wore these American Eagle straight cut skinny jeans similar (here.) I prefer dark wash jeans, and I think they contrast the white top very nicely.

I wore this blue and white floral blouse from Altar'd State (similar here.) I love the high neckline and bell/trumpet style sleeves. These style sleeves have been very popular this fall in clothing stores from Nordstrom to Forever 21. This top scrunches at the top and has detailed stitching around the neck. My favorite part is the blue colors. I think this shade of blue really stands out, and brings out blue eyes. It is a perfect style blouse for dinner with family. The blouse flows outward, so I recommend wearing a more form fitting bottom so you don't lose your figure in it.

As shown in a few of my blogs, I wore my yad necklace with an evil eye from Greece. It is rose gold with blue and white stones that match perfectly with the blouse. Since the top is already busy, I chose something more delicate to compliment it and blend it.

For accessories

I've been wearing these gold bangles a lot lately because they are a simple and easy addition to any outfit. A simple bracelet can create the finishing touches on an outfit. I got these Steve Madden boots about a year ago (similar here.) They are straight cut boots with stretch on either side. I've said before that I am very particular when it comes to boots, and these are the perfect pair. It isn't often that I can wear them in the Florida heat however. I would suggest high heeled booties with this outfit as well (similar here.)

My Kate Spade purse has become my everyday purse. As I have said in previous blogs, it is the perfect size, just big enough for all my essentials. In Florida, the seasons don't usually impact clothing styles as much as other states, but I think it might finally be time to switch it out for something darker like this black purse.
