Floral Sundress

The unpredictable Florida weather always seems to impact my outfit choice for the day. As I am writing, it is only 50 degrees out, but just last week I wore this adorable Floral sundress on a day trip to my hometown, Winter Park. I spent the day with my sister and aunt, and met with a family friend for lunch along Park Avenue.

I actually purchased this dress on Park Avenue at a boutique called The Label. This boutique was merging with another store, so they had amazing sales. The bright magenta color spread throughout the dress makes it eye-catching, and the flare paired with the length of it gives the look a fun and flirty feel. I love that the back of the dress ties together giving a small peak of skin. It also has adjustable straps that allow you to create the perfect fit.

Floral is definitely trending this year, and can be used in more wintry materials and colors in addition to the classic spring look. For a similar design check out Forever 21's dress here.

To complement the floral dress, I wore this rose ring that my sister gave me for Christmas. A subtle accent adds the small amount of detail to tie an outfit together. In addition, I wore these Kate Spade pearl earrings (similar here.) I prefer a simple design for earrings so that they don't distract from the outfit.

Lastly, I wore these chunky brown sandals with a slight heel. I bought these for the rush process for sororities. They are comfortable like a sandal with a bit more appeal. It dresses up an outfit a bit more than a classic sandal. This picture makes them look much darker, but the actual shoes is a lighter brown with a shiny texture on the gold accents.
